Diana + Ryan | San Juan Capistrano Wedding Photography

I absolutely loved everything about Diana and Ryan's wedding day. From the color scheme, to the location, to the decor and of course the perfect Southern California weather. Since the first time we met for their consultation, Diana said that her priority was to not stress. She said she wanted everything to go smoothly and that she would do everything in her power to plan for a smooth day, but that on her wedding day, she wanted to be cool, calm and collected. Now, I've been working closely with brides for a long time and I know first hand that is a very difficult task to aspire to. Diana, however, really impressed me. She nailed it perfectly! On the wedding day, the first thing she said to me was "I'm calm! I didn't stress!" haha.
As a photographer, I can't tell you how much I value a zen bride. Not so much for me, but for them. The more a bride stays carefree and actually enjoys her big day, the more beautiful the pictures will come out! I told her I knew we would get gorgeous images not only because she is, as you'll soon see, a total knockout, but because she was happy.

Diana and Ryan started planning well in advanced and put so much thought and love into every detail. Nothing is more exciting to a photographer than lots of details! Detail shots not only bring the visual storytelling together, but really bring an album to life as well. One thing I really liked about Ryan, was how involved he was in the planning process. Since the first time we met, he meant business! He asked me about my post-production techniques, my gear, had jpeg vs. raw questions, and was very specific about what feel they were going for in both the engagement session and wedding photography. It was clear he knew what he was talking about and I was both a little nervous and flattered that they would pick us to hang out with on the most important day of their life!

Diana and Ryan you guys are rock stars and total class acts. You two definitely know how to throw a party! Thank you for your trust, kindness and grace. You were a dream to photograph, I really hope we delivered!
