Katie + Grant | Orange County Engagement Photography

Meet Katie and Grant! We had the privilege of photographing their adventurous engagement session last month and loved every minute. They are big on the outdoors and hiking and camping and the beach so that's exactly what we did for their session! It was important to them that we hit all their favorite spots and had enough time and outfit changes to truly portray who they are. So we planned ahead for all of it and it worked out beautifully. It's all about showcasing a couple's interests, lifestyle, personalities and dynamic. I think we nailed it, what do you think?

Elizabeth + Kyle | The Crossings at Carlsband Wedding Photography

I'm so thrilled to share the images from Elizabeth and Kyle's wedding earlier this year!
We had such a fun time harassing them at the engagement session (THIS ONE) and loved their engergy. We've been very lucky in that the couples that hire us don't take themselves too seriously and like to have a good time. We take full advantage of that. ;) The wedding day did not disappoint and everything from the bride's custom gown to the groom's must-have location were perfection.

Kim + Cory | La Quinta Wedding Photography

So excited to finally share images from Kim + Cory's wedding late last year! You may remember them from their engagement session (this one). Well, their big day did not disappoint and we absolutely adored being a part of it! It was a beautiful, sunny, perfect day in La Quinta, CA. Love, details and special touches were abundant. The color scheme and decor were elegant and chic. The ceremony and reception took place at the El Dorado Polo Club, home to the Coachella festival. It was an intimate-yet-grandiose event that is sure to be remembered by the couple and their guests for years to come.

Ruby + Randy | Diamond Bar Wedding Photography

Ruby and Randy were so cool. Like just straight up, naturally, organically hip and cool. They just have this vibe about them. They had a beautiful church ceremony in Diamond Bar, CA and a fabulous reception at their family's private estate. The decor and details were impeccable. A vintage boudoir theme, personalized pastries, a super cool cocktail area, photo booth and, my personal favorite, the cigar lounge! I loved the mariachi band dressed in white, I'm a sucker for mariachi! Another favorite of mine is the father-daughter dance. It's so special to see it behind the lens, especially when one (or both) become emotional. I also absolutely LOVE when couples let me pull them out at sunset for a few "golden hour" photos.... it's just the icing on the cake! Check it out!

Elizabeth + Kyle | Orange County Engagement Photography

We got the chance to spend some time with one of our wedding couples for 2018. We will be photographing their wedding in Carlsbad in February and this was the warm-up. ;)

We got together for their Orange County engagement session and had a ball! These two are hilarious! Two peas in a pod. Kyle is sliiiiightly more reserved and usually allows Elizabeth to run with the spotlight. I don't think she minds one bit. Kyle is her biggest fan and she gobbles it up. I loved everything about their chemistry! They work together, live together and are completely obsessed with one another. This is something not very many people can understand, after all, who would want to work with their spouse, right? Well, as a husband and wife team, we totally get it. We're are right there with you, guys!

Roxanne + Ismael | Los Angeles Wedding Photography

It was such a pleasure documenting Roxanne and Ismael's beautiful wedding this past June. So many beautiful details and such a fun group! The ceremony was held at St. Gregory The Great Church in Whittier and the reception was held at Heritage Park in Santa Fe Springs. I can't wait to see what the future holds for this beautiful couple. If their wedding day was any indication of the road ahead... there's a lot to be excited about! <3  

Kim + Cory | La Quinta Engagment Photography

Absolutely loved photographing Jessica and Kris' beautiful wedding at The Mission Inn Hotel and Spa in Riverside. It was our first time working there and loved the history and architecture. Jessica and Kris had a blast and were surrounded by their loved ones. One of my favorite moments was the father-daughter "first look" in the bridal suite! Whitley + James | Orange County Wedding Photography

Excited to share Whitley and James' beautiful Spanish themed wedding today! We had the pleasure of meeting and vibing with them a few months prior to their wedding. I suspected instantly that this pair knew how to throw a party... and I wasn't wrong. I am so obsessed with the vibrant colors and Spanish details that went into this. In his toast, James thanked the bridal party for all of their help hand-painting the tiles they gave as favors. How cool is that?! We had such a good time with this whole bridal party, family and guests... what a fun crowd. Check it out:

Anastasiya + Victor | Temecula Wedding Photography

I'm so excited to finally share Anastasiya and Victor's beautiful Temecula wedding! We photographed their special day back in June, and I've been champing at the bit to blog it! What started off as a day of uncertainty and potential chaos, turned out to be one of the most spectacular celebrations of love I have witnessed thus far.  June 4, 2016 was the day of all the Temecula fires. Not only was it one of the hottest days of the year, but traffic was bumper to bumper the entire commute and roads were closed left and right. What's worse, I got word from the bride that the venue was covered in smoke! I assured her that, not only would we make it there on time, we would do our very best to work with the elements to create some beautiful images for her and Victor. My mind, of course, was racing with visions of formal portraits with flames in the background lol! But I was impressed by the level of calmness that Anastasiya demonstrated. She stayed cool and said she'd make the best of it no matter what. I think I prayed the whole way there.

I have to say, I am incredibly proud of the type of couples that we attract. We have been in business long enough to recognize a common denominator in the kind of people that hire us, and to say that we are flattered is an understatement. The bride that hires us is likely to be deep, sentimental, detail oriented, loving, has a sense of humor, knows what she wants, is determined, picky, driven and a visionary. The bride that hires us has a story to tell. Her wedding must be epic and metaphoric. Our brides are inspired, have excellent taste and are total photography snobs! Our grooms are involved, supportive, fashion forward and have big ol' hearts. The groom that hires us would give anything to see his bride smile.

It has been a minute since I sat down and blogged. I am so far behind, I am dying to show off all the awesome sessions and weddings we've covered this year, we've stayed busy! I wanted to make sure to get Dana and Jason on here asap since we covered their wedding back in February. It was such a treat working with these two love birds. Dana is sweet and soft, Jason a bad boy. They are a classic match in every way.  The sexy chemistry between the two is undeniable. I love when the groom can bring out every emotion in the bride. I like to see the laughs, the tears, the eye rolls... everything! Emotion is what I live for.

Genoveva and James met while co-coaching volleyball at the high school where they teach. Genoveva thought he was cute, but James knew immediately the moment Genoveva walked in that he was going to marry her. And so it was.

I am so excited to finally get the chance to sit down and catch up on some much needed blogging! As some of you may know, I have been away working on a super secret project the last few months. But that doesn't mean that I forgot about our amazing clients from last year. We had some wonderful moments, made incredible memories and life-long friendships.

Here we have Patty and Frank. They are so fun and down-to-earth, it was so awesome getting to document their special day. They love the outdoors, hiking, the beach, and above all, each other. They are made for one another and it was evident that they really enjoyed their day. Love and good wishes were abundant throughout. The ceremony took place at Wayfarer Chapel and the reception took place at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center in Rancho Palos Verdes. To say that this wedding was romantic is an understatement. Our friends over at Dream Events always deliver when it comes to details, decor and perfect scheduling. This beautiful wedding was smooth sailing from beginning to end. We seriously love working with couples who trust us, let us do our thing and, in return, appreciate all the love we put into each event.
