Meet Kara and Austin! These two are just adorable! We were so honored they chose us to capture their love and dynamic during their engagement session. We met at a beautiful park in Orange County and immediately hit it off. We were so bummed that we were already booked on the day of their wedding but so happy that they decided to hire us for their engagement photos anyway! We all had such great chemistry and I think the images really show a fun, at ease, comfortable couple who truly adore each other. Take a peek:

Meet Katie and Grant! We had the privilege of photographing their adventurous engagement session last month and loved every minute. They are big on the outdoors and hiking and camping and the beach so that's exactly what we did for their session! It was important to them that we hit all their favorite spots and had enough time and outfit changes to truly portray who they are. So we planned ahead for all of it and it worked out beautifully. It's all about showcasing a couple's interests, lifestyle, personalities and dynamic. I think we nailed it, what do you think?

Connie + Armando | San Diego Engagement Photography

Connie and Armando are so stinkin' cute. They are one of our 2018 wedding couples and we had the pleasure of photographing their engagement session in San Diego this summer. These two went all out and were total troopers on that hot August day.

Elizabeth + Kyle | Orange County Engagement Photography

We got the chance to spend some time with one of our wedding couples for 2018. We will be photographing their wedding in Carlsbad in February and this was the warm-up. ;)

We got together for their Orange County engagement session and had a ball! These two are hilarious! Two peas in a pod. Kyle is sliiiiightly more reserved and usually allows Elizabeth to run with the spotlight. I don't think she minds one bit. Kyle is her biggest fan and she gobbles it up. I loved everything about their chemistry! They work together, live together and are completely obsessed with one another. This is something not very many people can understand, after all, who would want to work with their spouse, right? Well, as a husband and wife team, we totally get it. We're are right there with you, guys!

He was the bar patron, she was the bartender. He had his eye on her, but she was hard to get. It would be on her time, on her terms. One day she simply went up to him and said: "Ok, I'll let you take me to a ball game." And the rest, my friends, is history.

Orizaba Family | San Juan Capistrano Family Photography

Absolutely adored the Orizaba family! Little Victoria is so cute and loving and full of curiosity. She loves nature and is smitten with flowers. This beautiful family rocked their session in San Juan Capistrano. I loved the black on black wardrobe and the pop of red on mom. Tres chic! Check it out:

Oh. My. Gosh. I cannot believe that we are less than a month away from these love birds' wedding! Eeeeek! We photographed Adanari and Miguel's engagement photos back in February, but I've been stalling a bit because I wanted to blog this closer to the wedding, and I can't believe it's here!

Liana + Scott | Downtown Los Angeles Engagement Photography

Liana and Scott are planning an intimate and romantic wedding to celebrate their love and begin their ever after together. It will be a backyward wedding at a swanky residence in Pasadena and I cannot wait to see what their day looks like. We couldn't be happier that they are allowing us to tag along and hang out with them on the most important day of their lives!

We met up for a photographic practice run, AKA engagement session, in Downtown LA last month. It was so incredibly easy photographing them because they clearly enjoy being together, being silly and making out. In case you didn't know, that's pretty much a photographer's dream! These two are in love. Like, real, sickening, mushy, movie-status love. We really bonded with these two and I cannot wait to document their wedding day next week!

Ariana + Vince | Long Beach Engagement Photography

We had such a blast photographing Ariana and Vince's engagement session on The Queen Mary in Long Beach. From lugging around props and finding "good light", these two don't lose their spark or smile! They were beaming with love and just wanted to have fun. They are so sweet to each other, it's so clear they are meant to be. We love it when engaged couples like each other! ;) We absolutely cannot wait to document their wedding next month!

Dana + Jason | Los Angeles Engagement Photography

Meet Dana and Jason! They are one of our couples for next year and we will be covering their wedding in February. I got to hang out with them in Downtown Los Angeles a couple of weeks ago to photograph their engagement session. It was fun and quite the adventure. We may or may not have broken a few rules and we may or may not have gotten yelled at by a mean, mean person! But, on the bright side, it was great to see that we can all work well under stressful situations, lol! .::gulp::..

Dana is one of my cousin's best girlfriends and it was such an honor to have been chosen to document her and Jason's wedding. They were super easy to work with and Jason made it clear from the beginning that he prefers candid moments versus posing. I can see why, the guy is a natural! But I think it was just an excuse to flirt with Dana the whole time. I'm on to you Jason.

One of my favorite things about shooting engagement photos is that I can get to know who a couple really is when they are together. It's a great way for the couple to get their feet wet and know what to expect. I loved that these two love birds are so chill and easy peasy, not to mention gorgeous! Can't wait for the wedding guys!
