My friend and long-time client Elizabeth is about to pop with her 2nd baby! Sooo excited to meet this new little! We met at a an open field in Orange County for this mother/daughter maternity photography session. I was a tad nervous about trekking to this spot with the very, VERY pregnant momma and her toddler, but they were both such troopers and it was totally worth it!  Check it out... how cute are they?!

Arlin | Orange County Maternity Photography

I can't say enough good things about my session with Arlin and her beautiful family. Maternity is my absolute favorite! I think at a time in their lives when they are used to feeling less than their best, it's always wonderful to see expectant mothers pamper themselves, feel beautiful and make gorgeous images to keep forever. If you are on the fence about whether or not to do a maternity session, you really should just make the jump. I promise you won't regret it!

Ivette | Laguna Beach Maternity Photography

I had the opportunity to reunite with and photograph my good friend from high school, Ivette! This girl and I go wayyyyy back! It's funny how life goes around in circles and people that we may have lost touch with can make their way back into our lives eventually. Especially with social media these days, it's so much easier to do so. I felt so honored to be able to do this for her and catch up. We met in Laguna Beach on a beautiful summer evening. She was such a good sport... even when a huge wave came by to say hi lol.

Marisa | Laguna Beach Maternity Photography

I had the pleasure of photographing my great friend Marisa and her beautiful family during a combined maternity/family portrait session. This is her second pregnancy and she wanted to include her daughter and husband this time around. Check out how cute the formal announcements are! We got so lucky that evening with a beautiful sunset and a great sky. The rocky area went perfectly with our Hawaiian theme as well.

I can't begin to describe the excitement I felt when I heard the news about these love birds expecting their first child! You may remember Diana and Ryan from their engagement session (this one) and their wedding photography (here) by us. So much has happened in just one year! We have come to think of Diana and Ryan as family. When Diana text me a few months back telling me they were expecting, I totaly got emotional. Not just because of the great news, but because it touched my heart that she would take the time to let me know and say she couldn't wait for maternity photos! Photography isn't just my job, it is my passion, my lifeline and my link to true family. It's so absolutely corny but completely true! I love to create magic with magical beings that let me into their lives and trust me with the utmost special moments in their journey. Ugh...I'm such a girl.

Nick and O' | Orange County Portrait Photography

Meet Nick and O'lita! This fabulous couple, and soon-to-be parents, came out to shoot with us from Valencia and we are soooo glad that they did! It's weird to think that this was the first time we had ever met because it really did feel like we had known them for a long time! Nick and O' are the type of people you almost don't want to believe exist. Extreeeeeemely good looking, kind, funny, can laugh at themselves and don't take life too entirely serious. They are fun and clever and fitness enthusiasts. Oh and here's the kicker: they make the world a better place. They are in the process of adopting their first child! Yeah...I officially feel like I suck at life haha, thanks guys!

We had this session a few months ago but they asked us to wait on sharing the images until the official announcements were made. I loved how they used their images! Below I have shared some of my favorites from their session as well as their official announcement! How cute are these?! I love when clients send us the final product!

***Nick and O', you guys are way too cool for your own good. We feel so fortunate to have crossed paths with your beautiful souls. I have no doubt you will be amazing parents and will bring so much joy to your baby's life. I can't think of a more generous, self-less and inspiring act than to give a child a home and a family.
