Victoria Chrystal Photography Blog: Diona + Rob

Although Diona and Rob each have a long history and love affair with NYC, they met in LA. Rob, the ultimate Mr. Cool Guy bachelor never expected to fall so hard for Diona. On their first date, however, he found himself actually listening to the words that were coming out of her mouth. He was instantly drawn to her intelligence, wit, and of course, beauty. Diona was smitten with Rob as well, and the rest, as they say, is history.

One of my favorite moments of their wedding was speech time. Every person that got up to say a few words provided a different piece to the puzzle. I especially loved the story that the maid of honor shared about her and Diona's trip to Paris where Diona went around pretending to be an American pop star and got them into the most exclusive clubs, LOL! #myhero. Every single person had something wonderful and unique to say about the bride and groom and it made you feel like you really, reeeeally knew them by the end.

We loved documenting Diona and Rob's special day and getting to capture all the love that radiated towards this couple. From the beginning, they were super easy to work with and said they just wanted us to capture what was going on. For Diona, we planned a little camera time before the ceremony to do some editorial style shots. They also opted to do a "first look" and get some portraits done before the ceremony. Take a look!
