Ryan + Alise | 1 Year Anniversary Session

Ryan and Alise recently celebrated their one year wedding anniversary with a photography session. They wanted to hang and be themselves while having their personalities documented. I love photographing couples in love because it makes my job so easy! Ryan and Alise are fun and silly and just plain beautiful. My approach was very simple: hang out, make a fool of myself and click the shutter.

Special thanks to Kathryn Hunter for assisting on this shoot!

Happy Twenty Thirteen!

Happy new year everyone! I know I'm a little late, but I wanted to make sure to post about our 2012 highlights. I am so in love with the art of photography and I especially love how it can bring people together. In 2012, some of my clients included old friends and people I hadn't seen in years, people I wouldn't have otherwise reunited with. It was a long year of ups and downs, everyday chaos and hustle and bustle, but I will forever remain thankful for my beautiful clients, their patience, graciousness, thoughtfulness, generosity and referrals. I hope this new year brings everyone prosperity, love, grace and especially peace. I've learned to really appreciate how valuable and rare peace of mind can be. Thank you all for your loyalty, for reading my diverse ramblings on here and for believing in me. Thank you God for all the work and blessings you have bestowed upon me. Here are some highlights from the amazing year we had at VCP:

Thank you 2012...
