Maribel | Pasadena Portrait Photography

Today I share with you Maribel's portrait session. We met up in Pasadena at her favorite thinking spot a few weeks ago and had such a fun time getting to know each other. Maribel is the owner of Captivated by Nature, a nutrition consulting service that helps individuals and families all across the nation lead healthier lifestyles. I immediately felt a connection with Maribel. She is sweet and soft and feminine with a fire within. The type that photographers feast on because we love that special sparkle in the eyes. She had that. We talked about what drives us and moves us and inspires us and I really enjoyed getting to know such an empowering woman.

Campos Family | Orange County Family Photography

Here is another of the beautiful families I got to photograph over the holidays. I always enjoy hanging out with the Campos family because they are fun, creative and don't take life too entirely seriously. Mom and Dad Campos created one clever little reindeer named Addy who is way too cool for her own good!

It's so flattering to me when parents tell me that their kids don't normally do well during portraits yet  do well with me. I get such joy out of working with kids...especially those that pose a little bit of a challenge because I know that when I do finally get that smile or smirk...I earned it! I believe a family portrait session isn't just about obtaining pretty pictures, I believe it's about making memories via the session. I don't want people thinking back and saying "oh gosh that was such a frustrating day" when they look at their images. I like when families play, relax, have fun with each other and let me do my thing. That's why the Campos family rocks my socks. Love you guys! <3

Rodriguez Clan | Orange County Family Photography

I'm playing catchup on my family portrait blogging from over the holidays and I'm so excited to finally share some of the amazing families I got to work with! I normally blog about every single session I photograph not only to show off my beautiful clients, but to document the experience and life timeline for them as well! I've been staying busy with shooting and editing but better late than never, right?

I have been photographing the Rodriguez trouble makers for a few years now and I really do think of them as my own family. They are beautifully chaotic and so much fun!  I normally photograph each family separately, but this time they decided to do an extended family session. That was fun... lol. ;)
