Genoveva and James met while co-coaching volleyball at the high school where they teach. Genoveva thought he was cute, but James knew immediately the moment Genoveva walked in that he was going to marry her. And so it was.
Their beautiful ceremony took place at Mariners Church in Irvine and was filled with love, nerves and emotion. The bride was breathtaking in her chic, trumpet-style dress and traditional mantilla veil. The groom's jaw nearly dropped as he watched his soon-to-be-wife set foot into this magical place. The reception was held at the charming Dove Canyon Courtyard in Dove Canyon, CA. So much thought went into every little detail. There were so many fun things for the guests to enjoy. The theme was "traditional Mexican fiesta" and included a delicious taco stand, churro cart, specialty margaritas, a fun and colorful candy table, and even a cartoon artist.
