We had the pleasure of capturing Anita and Fernando's engagement session last weekend and I wanted to share those today! Anita was actually one of my dance students over ten years ago! It's crazy that I am now documenting her engagement and wedding!
Anita and Fernando met through a mutual friend sever years ago and are now planning their wedding. They are super cute and fun together. They warned me ahead of time that they are not great at posing and feel awkward in front of the camera. I said "Great! My fave." Truth is every time someone says that to me I know it will be a great session. It's all about the moments in between the posing and direction. The "real" moments. Those are always the best images in my opinion!
We shot these in Old Town Pasadena and I loved playing with perspective and the architecture!
