Lorena + Carlos | Surprise Engagement Photography

I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful surprise proposal earlier this week. It was so cool to be asked to be a part of such a special moment in Lorena and Carlos' lives. Carlos contacted me a few weeks ago and we had been plotting the perfect proposal ever since. He said he wanted Victor and I to be a part of it and he wanted Lorena to remember this day for the rest of her life. He asked me to tell her that I needed a real couple to do a "styled" shoot for my portfolio and to ask her if she and Carlos would help me out. We planned the whole thing as if it were a typical styled photo session. The whole time she thought it was a photoshoot for my website and never saw it coming. Towards the end of the shoot, Carlos dropped down on one knee and asked her to be his wife. WAH! I live for this stuff, man! I got chills and watery eyeballs. Victor was working the reflector the whole time and I think he may have been more nervous than the boyfriend haha. Needless to say, she said YES! It was a wonderful day and I have some sweet images to prove it. Check it out!

Magdalena + Ernesto | San Juan Capistrano Engagment Photography

Although Magdalena and Ernesto have been married for twenty-one years and have three adorable boys together, they never had a "real wedding". Well this is the year to check that off the list! These love birds will celebrate their love by throwing the wedding of their dreams later this month! I thoroughly enjoyed capturing their love, dynamic and goofiness during our engagement session in San Juan Capistrano. I love that although they've made a life and home together, they made it a point to celebrate each other by solidifying their husband and wife status through a religious wedding. It's something that not everyone has the privilege to do. Seeing them make their relationship a priority is so inspiring! Can't wait to party with these two! <3
