Omg... I'm here! I'm alive! It's been a minute, I know.  I have been shooting so much I haven't gotten around to posting as much. But I'm here! I'm still shooting weddings and families but I've also been doing a lot of branding photography and headshots. Here are a few images from a recent branding session with Stacy! 

 

Leah | Downtown Santa Ana 30th Birthday Photo Session

 

Leah contacted me because she wanted to do a fun photo session for her upcoming 30th birthday.  She had seen one of my birthday shoots that I had done for my own birthday a while back and really liked one of the alleys that I used. After speaking with her, feeling out her personality and seeing what she looking at as far as wardrobe, we decided to do two outfits: one dressier look and one more fun/casual. We started off with a bit of an editorial, moody vibe. Then we just had fun and were silly while I captured it all. The best of both worlds! We shot these in Downtown Santa Ana at some of my favorite spots.

Karen + Robert | Los Angeles Arboretum Engagement Photography

Just a few days away from Karen & Robert's wedding and I wanted to share a few images from their Los Angeles engagement session a few months ago. We spent a few hours together at the Los Angeles Arboretum in Arcadia. We kept it casual and fun and got to know each other. I loved how much they enjoy the other's company. Robert gets extra points for being a total trooper because he hates taking pics. But then again, don't most men? Actually don't most people? In my experience, it's the people who hate taking pics that do the best. Listen we're just here to have fun and be dorks and I think I can get a good laugh out of most people so that's really all I need. Can't wait to hang out with these two again at their upcoming wedding.

Isabella | Orange County Quinceañera Photography

I don't do very many quinceañeras these days, but once in a while there is a perfect match and all the stars align! Such was the case with Isabella and her family and I was so delighted to be their ideal photographer for such a special occasion. I had the best time documenting this lovely fifteenth birthday celebration. Because even though 2020 ruined the huge and lavish event she had planned, nothing rains on Isabella's parade. A small and intimate backyard gathering took its place with beautiful details, great food, a stunning dress, her closest friends and family and, of course, yours truly to capture it all. Take a looksie!

Kara + Austin | Irvine Engagement Photography

Meet Kara and Austin! These two are just adorable! We were so honored they chose us to capture their love and dynamic during their engagement session. We met at a beautiful park in Orange County and immediately hit it off. We were so bummed that we were already booked on the day of their wedding but so happy that they decided to hire us for their engagement photos anyway! We all had such great chemistry and I think the images really show a fun, at ease, comfortable couple who truly adore each other. Take a peek:

We had the pleasure of capturing Anita and Fernando's engagement session last weekend and I wanted to share those today! Anita was actually one of my dance students over ten years ago! It's crazy that I am now documenting her engagement and wedding!

June + Martin | Terra Laguna Beach Wedding Photography

 

June and Martin tied the knot at Terra Laguna Beach and it was nothing short of magical. The couple opted for a first look prior to the ceremony followed by family portraits before heading to the venue. It was a beautiful day full of love, details, thought and smiles!

Connie + Armando | Villa Del Sol Wedding Photography

You may remember Connie and Armando from their gorgeous engagement session at Balboa Park in San Diego. Well their big day has come and gone and boy are you in for a treat! We got to spend it with them and it was truly special.

June + Martin | Orange County Engagement Photography

June and Martin are one of our wedding couples this year. We will be photographing their big day in September and got to hang out with them for the engagement session. To be entirely honest, I thought it would take a little more work getting these two love birds comfortable in front of the camera. When we first met during the initial consultation, June seemed a little bit shy and Martin had most of the serious questions. They seemed super laid back and we hit it off right away. June and I talked wedding details and photography. Victor and Martin bonded over goulash. Martin is from the Czech Republic and since that is one of Victor's favorite cities in the world, they instantly hit it off.

Katie + Grant | Orange County Engagement Photography

Meet Katie and Grant! We had the privilege of photographing their adventurous engagement session last month and loved every minute. They are big on the outdoors and hiking and camping and the beach so that's exactly what we did for their session! It was important to them that we hit all their favorite spots and had enough time and outfit changes to truly portray who they are. So we planned ahead for all of it and it worked out beautifully. It's all about showcasing a couple's interests, lifestyle, personalities and dynamic. I think we nailed it, what do you think?

Monica + Jose | Los Angeles Wedding Photography

So excited to share Monica and Jose's gorgeous wedding! It seems like just the other day I was photographing their engagement session at Dodgers Stadium and now out of nowhere, here's the wedding! I loved getting to spend this day with them. It was also very special to get to know their daughter who doubled as the flower girl (AKA the *real* star of the show). That cutie pie really was the glue that brought it all together.

Elizabeth + Kyle | The Crossings at Carlsband Wedding Photography

I'm so thrilled to share the images from Elizabeth and Kyle's wedding earlier this year!
We had such a fun time harassing them at the engagement session (THIS ONE) and loved their engergy. We've been very lucky in that the couples that hire us don't take themselves too seriously and like to have a good time. We take full advantage of that. ;) The wedding day did not disappoint and everything from the bride's custom gown to the groom's must-have location were perfection.

Kim + Cory | La Quinta Wedding Photography

So excited to finally share images from Kim + Cory's wedding late last year! You may remember them from their engagement session (this one). Well, their big day did not disappoint and we absolutely adored being a part of it! It was a beautiful, sunny, perfect day in La Quinta, CA. Love, details and special touches were abundant. The color scheme and decor were elegant and chic. The ceremony and reception took place at the El Dorado Polo Club, home to the Coachella festival. It was an intimate-yet-grandiose event that is sure to be remembered by the couple and their guests for years to come.

Connie + Armando | San Diego Engagement Photography

Connie and Armando are so stinkin' cute. They are one of our 2018 wedding couples and we had the pleasure of photographing their engagement session in San Diego this summer. These two went all out and were total troopers on that hot August day.

Ruby + Randy | Diamond Bar Wedding Photography

Ruby and Randy were so cool. Like just straight up, naturally, organically hip and cool. They just have this vibe about them. They had a beautiful church ceremony in Diamond Bar, CA and a fabulous reception at their family's private estate. The decor and details were impeccable. A vintage boudoir theme, personalized pastries, a super cool cocktail area, photo booth and, my personal favorite, the cigar lounge! I loved the mariachi band dressed in white, I'm a sucker for mariachi! Another favorite of mine is the father-daughter dance. It's so special to see it behind the lens, especially when one (or both) become emotional. I also absolutely LOVE when couples let me pull them out at sunset for a few "golden hour" photos.... it's just the icing on the cake! Check it out!

Elizabeth + Kyle | Orange County Engagement Photography

We got the chance to spend some time with one of our wedding couples for 2018. We will be photographing their wedding in Carlsbad in February and this was the warm-up. ;)

We got together for their Orange County engagement session and had a ball! These two are hilarious! Two peas in a pod. Kyle is sliiiiightly more reserved and usually allows Elizabeth to run with the spotlight. I don't think she minds one bit. Kyle is her biggest fan and she gobbles it up. I loved everything about their chemistry! They work together, live together and are completely obsessed with one another. This is something not very many people can understand, after all, who would want to work with their spouse, right? Well, as a husband and wife team, we totally get it. We're are right there with you, guys!

Roxanne + Ismael | Los Angeles Wedding Photography

It was such a pleasure documenting Roxanne and Ismael's beautiful wedding this past June. So many beautiful details and such a fun group! The ceremony was held at St. Gregory The Great Church in Whittier and the reception was held at Heritage Park in Santa Fe Springs. I can't wait to see what the future holds for this beautiful couple. If their wedding day was any indication of the road ahead... there's a lot to be excited about! <3  

Kim + Cory | La Quinta Engagment Photography

He was the bar patron, she was the bartender. He had his eye on her, but she was hard to get. It would be on her time, on her terms. One day she simply went up to him and said: "Ok, I'll let you take me to a ball game." And the rest, my friends, is history.
